(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Four al-Qaeda members were arrested yesterday inside agricultural areas planning to attack the pilgrims, Karbala's Operations Commander announced.
Staff General Othman al-Ghanimi told Aswat al-Iraq that yesterday's explosions were inside the agricultural areas because the pilgrims did not abide by the routes designed for their protection.
He added that investigations with the four Qaeda members are underway.
Ghanimi clarified that yesterday's explosions were within the limits of Babel province, not Karbala, that led to wounding Iraqis and Afghani pilgrims.
